MEET BYRON
Byron Darden is a global executive coach to leaders at the world's most prestigious Fortune 500 corporations like American Express, Blue Cross, Capital One, Disney corporation and the NBA (just to name a few).
As leadership consultant and guest lecturer at the highly acclaimed Harvard Business School, Byron was hand selected to teach in both the MBA and Executive Education Programs. He blends his unique experience as a professional coach, business entrepreneur, professional championship level figure skater, and professional actor to bring about change in executives' lives and their organizations. He's also taught executive leadership at Columbia University Business School, UVA's Darden School of Business, Duke University, and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
A former professional figure skater and 30-year-master coach to Olympic-level skaters, Byron learned the rigor, discipline and training regimen needed to compete and win at a world-class level. He even performed as a Principle Skater in the Ice Capades alongside Dorothy Hamill, Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean, and Debi Thomas, just to name a few.
Byron's experience as a professional stage, TV and national commercial actor taught him how to command the stage and hold an audience's attention. This cultivated his expertise in executive presence, that elusive yet trainable quality, which produces increased clarity, confidence, energy, and influence.
